Masaki Tsujino
Masaki Tsujino (辻野正樹) is a Japanese director and writer. After graduating from Kyoto City University of Arts, he worked as a musician under the name Sora 2000 (ソラ2000). In 1997, he released the album Aporo No Koro (アポロの頃). After that, he studied screenwriting at Scenario Center (シナリオ・センター) and pursued a career in theatre. In November 2002, he co-founded with actor Masakazu Naruse (成瀬優和) a theatre company, Sunny Side Walker (サニーサイドウォーカー). That same year, he studied screenwriting under former NHK director Makoto Ōhara (大原誠). In July 2004, he adapted his play Katte ni Nostalgia (勝手にノスタルジー) into a four episodes drama for Fuji TV's Gekidan Engimono (劇団演技者). In 2008, he founded a new theatre company, Hybrid Jumpers (ハイブリッド・ジャンバーズ). In 2011, he studied video production at ENBU Seminar (ENBUゼミナール). In 2015, he directed the independent film Run to Tomorrow (明日に向かって逃げろ). In 2017, he made his commercial directorial debut with the horror omnibus Bizarre Nightmare Stories (奇々怪々譚 醒めない悪夢の物語).
