Pauline's journey to becoming a woman involved many painful decisions, including parting with her wife and daughter. She also strove to win the understanding of her parents. Eventually, she found a way to rebuild a family life, helping her ex-wife to run a restaurant. In this program, we follow a transgender woman's search for her true identity and her efforts to hold on to the people she loved.
